What’s the idea behind our blog?

No bullshit. No sellouts. No photoshop. Just original, genuine content. We want to share how easy it can be to continue your passions abroad, using them to find employment and residential networks. We are average ladies who work hard at home, save, and connect with others so that exploring is made easy. Maximum efficiency, minimal effort.

Who are we?

Canadians, foodies, sports-enthusiasts, LGBTQ+ community members. Bewitched by the travel bug, we vowed to explore each continent before starting our careers. After graduating university, we worked hard for a year to save for the trip of a lifetime. Deciding that a home-base would be best while travelling, we researched the best (and most cost-effective) ways to live abroad. In Canada, we played varsity field hockey for UVic and other clubs which lead us to get connected with online international scouting boards. We found an awesome team in Germany looking for players and signed a contract. For the next year, we lived with German billet families from our club in Hamburg. Our experiences with travelling and reading blogs inspired us to start our own! Currently, we are in Canada exploring our own country when possible until COVID-19 subsides.

We have experience living in four different countries between us, have studied abroad in two different countries, and have visited nineteen+ countries. We are backpackers, resort dabblers, train trekkers, and seasoned campers who continue to expand our knowledge. We will offer information that is accurate, truthful, and helpful to the best of our ability so our readers can take our advice and explore with confidence.
